This week we were working with prefixes and suffixes,synonims and phrasal verbs.

Post Five

We were studying linking words, these can be used to establish a link between different ideas and to introduce newer ones.
There are a lot of linking words and it can be difficult to used them corrctly but this topic can help to express ourselves in english fluently.

Linking words can express cause/effect reason, contrast, and addition.

Post Four

Recently we were studying an important issue on english language. There are the Modal Verbs. Modal verbs include can,must,may,might,will,would,should. They're used with other verbs to express ability,obligation,possibility, among others. This can be summarized like:

can : -Express ability.
-Request permission.

may: -Express posibility.
-Request permission.

must: -Express oligation,strong belief.

should: -give advice,not-sure belief.

would: -Request offer
-in-if sentences.

To practice this we were doing exercices about completing sentences using can, can't, could, couldn't, and other modal verbs.
